Sadness has followed me too. My therapist has told me more than once I _did_not_have_ a childhood. Plus I have spent alot of energy trying to hide the damage caused by the abuse I suffered, in order to avoid the almost unbearable pain of being a social outcast. I am 35, almost 36, years old, and have had pain to suffer from abuse, neglect, and later depression.
I will pray for you, and I hope you no longer feel ( or have ) the need to have a smile plastered on your face to suit others. I have been there too.... and so has a sympathetic God who feels your pain simply because He Chooses to love each and every one of us.

My dear sister-
Oh, how do we get in so much trouble?? If you do break down, you will probably be put on chemical medicine. That's not my first choice, though. But God will not leave you. He will not leave you.
It sounds like you must have some changes right now. We do go through hell sometimes. Granted. You need, I think, to cry, and rest, and be held by God, our Savior, Himself-and heal. He can do it. Try to keep trusting Him. He will not leave you.
If you will, I want to talk to you. Please comtact me at this site so I can give you my phone number. Sweetheart-dear precious one-you have so much to look forward to. There is no other you. You don't have to fake anything. God is able to finish what He starts, and He has begun something so beautiful in you. You are His creation. Give Him a chance, O.K.?
You deserve better than this. Take the smallest, baby steps...accept no pressure.

This is my first time ever asking for prayer. I felt the need to because I can tell I am on the way to losing my way.
Ever since I was a child, sadness has been my theme. I always look happy and wear a radiant smile - my camouflage. It has worked well to fool everyone else; but it takes so much inner strength that I am now exhausted and ready to give up and give in.
I am thought of as a very strong person for all I've been through and I am always trying something new to be successful. I have tried to be faithful to God; but often times break under the load. Now I don't feel I'll ever make it and ready to quit. I do not feel the will to live sometimes.
Please remember me in your prayers - I do not have any strength to hold on anymore. I have not smiled in a week now.
