Hi Darling,
Just a note to let you know that I am praying with and for you and hoping that you will do the same for me. As I read your appeal to reclaim your wife, etc., I shed a tear, because tell her this; you know a lady thats 51 years old, she has prayed, and prayed for God to send her and/or cause her to meet the man that he has for her and she is still waiting. Trust me, if your wife? walked in my shoes for just a day, she would run back to you with love. To have a soulmate that loves you even when things are not so sweet, even when she says that she doesn't love you anymore, to have the comfort of arms and a smile when its 17 degrees outside, to have someone to give you their heart like you've done her, she should appeal to God to touch her heart about her situation and if God signals her that she should indeed leave, then do that without causing you more pain inside, because there is someone out there that would feel like you feel and her toes would tingle when she thinks about you. My heart is waiting and I'm not at all about looks, et., and all this other worldly stuff, you see I watch the geese cross the road where I live each and every morning and all I can see while sitting there waiting for them to cross is this.........'Jesus Christ who made the geese; also made us and with that he gave his life so that we may live and love and that life is truly short and that happiness is what its all about. But, I do know this kind person, you don't want her or anyone to stay with you because you want them too, if its not a two-way feeling, please, please release her and settle into patiently waiting on God, but relax and allow God to talk to you and HE will; He always does...............[Editor's Note: Please do NOT put your email address in your forum posts.]

God can rekindle the love in your wifes heart!
Pray for her daily and ask God to please soften her heart to you again and bring back that love she once had.
God is in the restoration business especially for marriages, He is for marriage!

Keep your eyes on Jesus and be still and know that He is God and will fight for your marriage.

After 11 years of separation following 22 years of a not very satisfactory marriage, 3 weeks ago we were at the point of applying for a divorce, yes we have discussed recon. before, but it seemed hopeless, as my wife says she has lost her love for me, and she's become bitter about me. But a pang of pain hit me as I thought about stating divorce proceedings, seeing a lawyer, etc., and I thought, my wife does not have another relationship, she lives close by, and we can talk some, also she's a wonderful woman, so I've started on a course to win her back, with God's help. It's based on my just being gentle, positive, tactful, sensitive, helpful, patient, and not reacting to her negative comments. For more details, watch the "Causes of Divorce" forum, for I plan to post our story there soon, to try and help other couples.
So please pray for us, you wonderful CSD folk, also for my third son Paul, who was worst affected by our break-up, and who's yet to commit himself to our Lord(I'm so thankful my other children have done so).
