Well, I was typing a response...don't know where it went, but want to try again. Please let this young lady know that she is in this woman's prayers. Even with my own struggles, I am always aware that there are others struggling far worse. It moves my heart that this 17 year old has such a burden to carry. May God show her lovingkindness and strength through this time, and may she find the help that she and her family so desperatly need, through her brothers and sisters in Christ. I will not forget her.

Hi, I have a friend whose family’s in dire straits. Her Mom and Dad are both out of work, and she, being 17, is having to play the bread winner for her family of eight (including herself), with her job at the mall. Her family has food stamps, but that really doesn’t pay the rent and the bills. To make things worse, her Dad is a prisoner in Doubting Castle. He’s really discouraged, and he blames the family’s problems on himself.
My friend has a medical problem where she has to stay constantly hydrated, especially at work. She has to go to the back and get water often! Her manager doesn’t quite understand her health problem as well as he probably should. He thinks she does it to get out of doing work! As she put it: “I feel rather intimidated in explaining this to him. If you were to meet him you would understand... He is a very large, intimidating and formidable person, but I know he has the capabilities to be kind. He just doesn't understand at this point.” She could lose her job if Satan has his way! I ask you pray that God provides for their needs!
