This was something I NEEDED to "hear" today! Thank you for sharing this! It is so very true...it gave me inspiration today and encouragement, doesn't our Awesome God work in neat ways?!

Ed who is head of the prayerline, had this on the top of one of the weeks prayer/warriors prayer lists. It said, "Sometimes we get so busy doing the Lord's work that we don't take time to really have an "Intimate Relationship with the Lord"; well this sure set me thinking and recommiting more time to prayer and study and really getting closer to the One who Gave His ALL for me on CALVARY'S TREE.
It is funny and yet tragic when we have to get ill to get our eyes opened to that very thing. When you are sick in bed and Jesus can really get your attention, and you have all of those hours of rehab to do, He is there to guide you and to tell you REALLY WHAT HE WANTED YOU TO KNOW ALL THE TIME.
"WHAT AN AWESOME LORD GOD WE SERVE."
My favorite singer is Manuel Escorcio, and this is one of the songs on one of his C-D's, that I just love.
HE WAS THERE ALL THE TIME, HE WAS THERE ALL THE TIME, WAITING PATIENTLY IN LINE, HE WAS THERE ALL THE TIME.
TIME AFTER TIME, I WENT SEARCHING FOR PEACE IN SOME VOID,
I WAS TRYING TO BLAME ALL MY ILLS ON THIS WORLD I WAS IN,
SURFACE RELATIONSHIPS USED ME 'TIL I WAS DONE IN,

NOW THAT I HAVE THE ANSWER, MY LIFE IS JUST STARTING TO RHYME.

HE'S BEEN WAITING RIGHT THER ALL THE TIME.
Yes, Jesus is there all the time, wanting a closer relationship with us. Take time to really get to know this AWESOME One, before it is too late. It is worth the extra time and maybe loss of sleep or spending less time doing things to really get closer to Him -- could mean the difference between where we spend eternity.
God bless each of us, that we may spend time getting that close to Him that He can reveal to us those intimate things that make a relationship with Jesus worth living.
