You seem young, yet wise. Note that a significant number of people change majors within the first year and onto the second year of college. I changed three times: COmmunication/History-Law/Nursing.
The way I see it, it all ties together. You have to be a great communicator, a historian to give tender care. Knowing the history of Christ is most essential. If they offer Christ Object LEssons course or Teachings of Christ, I'd be sure to add that to your list.
As for dating, well, let's say that I'm not the best advisor, but I did just purchase the book "Lady In Waiting" at the ABC. Pick it up if you can. Waiting on God is best. I would think you could meet plenty of folks at college. Get involved in organizations that support what you enjoy: community service, International Club, some service organization.
I pray for you that God will be the guiding force in your life. He only wants the best for you, that I am most certain of.

Hello. I began college almost a year ago and I have been undecided on exactly what I wanted to pursue. I began with Nursing and now I have decided to change my major to Dental Hygiene or Mental Health Counselor or perhaps a School Counselor (being that I love servicing others) . I began praying about it and I ask that you pray for me as well. Please pray that God will lead me in the path in which He would have me to follow.
Please pray for me as I pursue God's will in all things including dating. I want to learn how to be patient and wait on who ever God places in my life. I have met someone on this site however we do not know each other that well and I want God's leading. I find that people often rush things as though if they do not snag a mate right there and then, then they'll get away. But God says "love is patient" and I pray that he teaches me and all of you that as well.
