Dear Nannette,

Here we are, Javier and Brenda, back to reality from our wedding and honeymoon, and as we promised, here is an update.

In our last update we mentioned that our story had some interesting twists. One of them is that even though we met through your web site, when we met personally I got to know my husband's mother too. She looked very familiar to me and after talking for a while It turned out that I knew her sisters who used to live in Puerto Rico and that I graduated from high school with Javier's cousins. In addition, my parents new Javier's grandparents as well. All those years, knowing many of his family members, and we never met. God has a time for everything. This was a match made in heaven.

We got engaged last Memorial Day Weekend (2006) and just got married on January 14, 2007. We had a beautiful, perfect wedding. We enjoyed every single minute of it, as we are enjoying now our lives as a married couple.

An interesting detail of the wedding was, since we met at your website and my nickname was Lady Godiva, we had Godiva chocolates for our guests.
