It was exciting to read the comments in your success story
section because I recognized a couple of quotes from the letter we wrote to
you just before we got married.
When Brett and I
met through (Shining Star) Computer Cupid over four years ago, we knew right away that
something special was going to happen because your computer so perfectly
matched us. We both enjoyed writing to and getting to know the other matches
you had sent each of us but the match between the two of us was almost
unbelievable.
We spent many hours in phone conversations and exchanged
mail daily so by the time we met in person, we already knew each other better
than either of us had known our former spouses before marrying them.
Between the two of us we have five grown children but the first year we were
married we had three kids graduate from three different Academies, one from
college and one from Navy basic training.
Our first six months of marriage
were spent traveling the country in a little motor home (I left a 5 bedroom
farm house in Michigan for a 20 foot camper!!) We were together 24 hours a
day, 7 days a week. And at the end of the 6 months we still believed that
ours was a match made in heaven!
We have since experienced several
tragedies with deaths in both of our families and some heavy trials with some
serious health problems for both of us. Our five kids in five states
each had a different crisis we needed to help them with and cope with
ourselves.
When we were getting ready to move into our new home in
Florida, arsons burned it down so once again we lived in the RV (a little bit
bigger one this time). Now we are settled in a modest home in the
Ocala National Forest and enjoy a simple, happy life together. We still
spend most of our time together since Brett's business office is in our
home.
Four years of trials have come fast and furious and I won't pretend
that it has been easy, but together we have built a stronger relationship
with our Father, God and both of us, for the first time in our lives, know
first-hand about God's plan for a happy, Christian home.
We have
recommended your services to several people, including a couple who got
married in 1997.
We thank God for your ministry and will be eternally
grateful to Jesus for bringing us together and blessing our
