Hi Nannette and Larry,

Thanks a million for ministering through this website to the untold thousands who want to meet the one God chose for them before the foundations of the world. I met Barry last November 21st through your site and by December 26th he had flown to the U.S. from New Zealand to see me and my daughter Trinity. In that time period we exchanged at least two emails per day and over 1,000 pages of chat. All-night phone calls seemed like only a moment in time but lasted up to 8 hours.

We started planning his trip to America in early December, but I knew that once we were together I could not bear to be seperated by time, distance, nor circumstance so we started planning to return to New Zealand with him. It was miracle after miracle to get passports and everything else finished in just 3 weeks. The Lord's grace and provision were with us and He provided all that we needed. As a bonus, He [God] worked in a road-trip from New Orleans to Los Angeles, via the Grand Canyon, fulfilling one of my greatest dreams. It was a terrific week spent getting to know one another in person before we flew out of Los Angeles and across the sea to our new home in Auckland.

In order to move to out of country it required that I walk away from a young career in teaching, give 95% of my possessions away (including my beloved dog and two cats), and say a quick goodbye to friends and family. However, I count the cost as nothing because the Lord richly blessed and caused me to find the fulfillment of my desires and destiny in Barry's heart.

Just as Abraham sent his servant to find a mate for his son Isaac, so God sent this internet service and found me for Barry. And just as Rebekah said yes and left all to immediately return to Isaac and be his wife before God, so I left all to be with the mate that God chose for me.

I offer daily thanks and praise to God for giving me Barry, my treasured best friend. He's so wonderful and vastly more than I knew to even ask God for in a mate.... "exceedingly, abundantly, above all that we can ask or think according the riches laid up for us in Christ Jesus."

Barry and I will be married this Friday evening, July 26th, at the top of the Sky Tower in Auckland; seven months to the hour since Barry stepped off the plane in New Orleans and into my arms. We both give thanks and praise to the Lord of Lords for this precious gift. And our thanks to you, too, for this great dating site.
